Welcome to WorldOfSkiers.org This site is for you and me! WorldOfSkiers.org's aim is to be a site for you and me that loves to ski, but only have the opportunity to spend one or two weeks a year for skiing. Why did I start WorldOfSkiers.org? This is a relevant question and it took some time for me to understand my driving forces.  I have passed the "magic" 40. Have been skiing since I was seven, but have never lived closed to a skiing area. The planning of the one, two or maybe three weeks of skiing has always been important.  When I was young I went to the local library and looked at the ski maps in the book presenting Austrian ski resorts. Today I have internet and an overload of information: access to all ski resorts, find thousands of forums, blogs, newsletters… …but I am missing the place where I can dig into the resorts data, ski maps, make comparisons, find reviews and articles. A site that contains all the basic information and have users that add links to interesting articles. So I think that this is a site for you too, so welcome! Best, Patrik
