Mens' Allround Skis 2009/10

Men are not a mystery, transparent and easy to understand… And the Ski Industry did realize what men want and fulfills these requirements to skis every single year.

The male skiers dream about the perfect “Allrounder” for the whole ski day - and R&D is about to fulfill these wishes as you can clearly see with this season´s winner.

Today´s all-round skis are made for the advanced skier as well as the less skilled “amateur” one. They are easy to handle and tolerate some mistakes, even the most experienced skier is making from time to time. An all-round ski has to present itself mainly as means to skiing pleasure that allows easy swings at medium speed as not everybody is born to race! Due to that, this category´s most important factors are minimum effort, high balance and easy turnings, even more important than performance and speed. Needless to say, that those skis do have a great design as well, as no single male wants to be seen on the slope with flowery patterns or a pink ski, at least not our trendy testers like Christian Mayer, Raimund Berger and Peter Zwarzl.

Gerhard Gucher
(Head of Tourism Burgenland)
For me, as working in tourism, the friendliness and hospitality at WST was impressive. This event can only have a very positive effect on tourism.

Günther Messner
(Intersport XL)
For the consumer WST is a very important guideline and therefore a relevant support in his/ her buying decision. We are happy, that WST is offering this opportunity to all our customers.

Patrik Nilsson
(WorldOfSkiers.org)
I have seen plenty of ski tests, but WST is unique with its blackened skis and the great marks system, as in my opinion this test is the most objective one ever.
